I wanted to share some feedback about a service visit from a few months ago. While our most recent visit went fine, we had a pretty frustrating experience earlier that I think is worth addressing. We brought the car in for suspension work—specifically to replace the control arms, struts, and rear shocks. The next day, we were told the work was done, but when we came to pick up the car, we noticed that one of the front struts, which was supposed to be replaced, wasn’t even on the vehicle. It turned out the part hadn’t been ordered at all, and we had to leave the car again so the strut could be installed. After that was finally done, my son drove the car off the lot but immediately turned around due to a noise coming from the rear. We were then told one of the rear shocks hadn’t been seated properly and was rubbing against the dust boot. We ended up having to return to the dealership three more times before everything was fully resolved. On top of that, the car was returned to us with grease marks on the door handles, fenders, gear shift, and steering wheel. It’s a white car, so this was really noticeable—and frustrating, especially since we assumed it would be cleaned before being returned. My son regularly details the vehicle, so it was obvious right away that it came back in worse condition than it went in. I understand that mistakes happen, but the number of issues and repeat visits needed to fix everything was disappointing-especially from a dealership that specializes in Volkswagen. I just wanted to share this in the hope that it helps improve the experience for other customers moving forward. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
